Welcome to the Friends of The Level!
We are an open community group that comes together to:
· Protect and preserve the environmental, historical and cultural heritage of The Level for current and future generations.
· Provide a platform and forum for residents, community and other interest groups who share an interest and concern in protecting and enhancing the future of The Level, its natural environment, flora and biodiversity.
· Help shape, promote and support activities and events that help to create a positive and enriching environment on The Level.
· Liase and engage with park users, rangers, council officers and local organisations to address issues relevant to The Level’s environment, history and culture.
· Encourage the use of The Level by local residents and groups who do not currently use it, within the overall context of protecting and enhancing the facilities and natural environment of the Level.
